Aubry well equipped for his car debut

The page of Gabriel Aubry’s karting career has closed after a 2014 season marked by a unique experience with the Tony Kart Racing Team and very strong performances. Next up is car racing and especially the French F4 Championship with Autosport Academy. Preparation has already started at Sepang in December with the Super 6 AsiaCup.

“Completing my karting career with Tony Kart was definitely a great opportunity,” said Gabriel. “In terms of raw results, I am a little disappointed, especially after the KF World Championship at Essay where I accumulated problems in the finals when I was on the pace. Fortunately, I managed a lot of very good performances in KF during the season and mostly I made a lot of progress in my approach to racing with the Tony Kart Racing Team.” Gabriel regularly made his mark on the top 10 in European races and his best memory is probably his ascent to second position in the WSK Super Master Series at Castelletto, starting from 42nd place after the heats. Within the team, he often competed brilliantly against his teammates.
