Complete success for Ocon

Esteban Ocon and his FA Kart / Vortex were overwhelming favorites for the start of the KF3 final this Sunday at the GPO at Ostricourt. But Valentin Moineault (Sodi / Parilla) was not hiding his ambitions of winning. Esteban got away flawlessly, but Valentine was losing time trying to get back on track against Hubert Petit (Sodi / Parilla) who did not facilitate the task. Etienne Mordret (Zanardi / Parilla) did not take long to take second place, while Paolo Besancenez (Sodi / Parilla) was behind the battle. Petit dropped back and ended up fifth behind Simon Tirman (Tony Kart / Vortex). Besancenez now threatened Mordret for 2nd position, and Petit attacked Florian Latorre (Sodi / Parilla) who wasn’t far from 5th place.

Ocon continued his celebration with more than 4 seconds ahead of his pursuers. Besancenez eventually stole second place from Mordret who must now be wary of someone very close behind. The Sodi driver found the opening on the 14th lap on the Zanardi.

Unsurprisingly, Esteban Ocon added another win to his record, impressive throughout the weekend. Besancenez finished 2nd, 3rd was Petit, Mordret 4th and Latorre 5th.
