Sodi Continues Its Winning Series!

Vincent Fraïsse has added a new French Champion title to Sodi’s already impressive list of achievements in 2013. After winning the Rotax Max at Ancenis, in July, this driver from Ile-de-France repeated his successful performance on the Lavelanet track, this time by winning the French X30 Championship.

Definitely, the French constructor has been amply rewarded for its tireless efforts to manufacture top-quality chassis with outstanding performances. Though the season is far from over, its current score already includes four national titles: Minikart French Cup, French Rotax Max, Rotax Master – and now X30 – Championships. Not to mention the 1-2 victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, or the X30 Challenge Europa at the beginning of this year. Such a brilliant series of victories owes nothing to chance. Sodi company’s determination is evident in its production of exceptional chassis, which stand head and shoulders, in many aspects, above all the Italian brands active on the national scene, as proven by results!

The competition held in Ariège started well for the Sodi driver, who got off on the right foot by setting the fastest time in timed qualifying ahead of a pack of competitors eager to fight, including a well-known international driver, Kevin Breysse, who in the past was member of the Sodi Racing Team. Fraïsse continued to perform in a very convincing manner in the qualifying heats. Though he could not fight for victory owning to a difficult start, he set the fastest lap times in the race and concluded with a second place in the intermediate classification. He got back into the lead in the pre-final and concluded flawlessly in the final race, after leading from start to finish without giving the impression of putting forth too much of an effort. The demonstration made by Vincent Fraïsse and the Ludo Racing team at Lavelanet was eloquent.

«Everything went just fine!» the new champion commented after his arrival. «But it was not an easy task. I was anxious before the final, the race was long and conditions were uncertain. Ludo Racing managed to find the right set-up for my Sodi chassis, I immediately realised it. From there, I just did what I am good at behind the wheel!»

But the Couëron company is not going to rest on these laurels, since there are other forthcoming events, with a view to adding some more achievements to an already long list.
