Latest decisions of the CIK Commission

At the request of CIK President Felipe Massa, the following amendments were submitted to the members of the CIK Commission and the World Motor Sport Council. They were adopted by electronic vote on 11th July, 2019, for immediate application.

Modification of Article 16 – FIA Karting World Championships – OK, Junior and KZ
Modification of Article 14 – FIA Karting International Super Cup – KZ2

The maximum number of Slick tyres from the Qualifying Heats to the Final was limited until now to two sets with free management. In order to increase sporting equality among the 34 finalists, it was decided to allow two sets of slick tyres for Qualifying Practice and the Qualifying Heats and to make the use of a new set of slick tyres for the Final mandatory.
