Formula 3 Goal for Beitske Visser

Since a very early age, Beitske Visser (17) has the habit of setting some very challenging goals at the beginning of each season… and of reaching them! It has been the case with karting, where this Dutch female driver has plotted a steady path up to the top category. And since her passage to single-seaters, she has always worked hard to take victory. This young talent of car racing is one of the revelations of the 2012 Adac Formels Masters Championship, where she crossed the finish line as the winner twice. At the beginning of 2012, Beitske Visser decided to take the great leap from karts to single-seaters and made her debut in the Adac Formels Masters, a mainly German Championship which also includes meetings in the Netherlands and Austria. “I initially hoped to be able to compete a little more in karting, but I quickly decided to focus 100% on car racing“, Beitske admitted. “Overall, this has been a very positive year, although my season was disrupted by two accidents that prevented me from doing better than 8th overall“. Indeed, at Zandvoort, she crashed into the tyres at high speed owing to a brake problem and Beitske had to skip the Sachsenring meeting due to a bad backache.

An Amazing Experience
Then, in September, she could not be at the Nürburgring due to hand pain caused by another accident. But thanks to her tremendous mental strength, Beitske Visser has always come back even stronger. “I have built up a lot of experience in 2012 and I have learnt so much: single-seater driving, data acquisition analysis, debuts on prestigious tracks, looking for the best and most reliable settings…” In any case, she has never stopped looking for the best performances, supported by her indomitable will to win.

Two Victories in 2012
She climbed onto the podium already at the first race of the season, at Oschersleben. A month later, despite an accident she suffered on Saturday, she got back into her single-seater and bravely took her first victory in this discipline on Sunday. “Winning in my home country is a beautiful memory“. But it was not an isolated feat and she won again during summer at the Nürburgring. There is no doubt that Beitske Visser impressed observers: she is very fast as soon as she enters the track, she manages her tyres at best, she has a formidable fighting spirit and she is determined to reach as far as possible. With Beitske, girl power is fast approaching…
