Alpha impresses at all levels

The 2014 season has been particularly rich in victories and podiums for the Alpha chassis, which has proved effective in every category that it is represented in. From Milane Petelet, who has achieved success in Minime with the Ferro Motorsport team, to Douglas Lundberg, in a brilliant second round of the German KZ2 Championship with the team CPB Sport, Alpha Karting is definitely a brand to be reckoned with in competition each year.

Constantly relying on their long experience in karting and with recognized expertise over several decades, Alpha Karting now has a range of chassis and competitive products. Allowing drivers to achieve their goals by choosing an Alpha remains a consistent policy of the French brand, which has resulted in many positive outcomes for Alpha in the first quarter of 2014.

Alpha in the big leagues

With its Alpha Tiger Black chassis and the CPB Sport team, the Swedish driver Douglas Lundberg continues to assert himself as the great revelation of the 2014 season within the global elite of KZ. After numerous top 10 and even top five finishes, gathered from the WSK events in March and April, Lundberg continued in early May, this time at Ampfing in the very tough German championship, with 63 entries in KZ2. Winner of a heat against drivers of the calibre of Pex, Zanchetta and Federer, he continued his efforts in the finals. Driving a particularly effective chassis, he finished fourth in Race 1 and then got the better of Lammers and Pex to take the second step of the podium. Reinforced by the presence of Louis Bonsaudo, CPB Sport also saw steady progress for Thomas Maingre – excellent in qualifying – racing in only his first season at international level.

Petelet and Alpha masters of Minime in IDF

In France, the news was full of the various Regional Championships, where drivers on Alpha chassis were likely to get on to the podium, from Mini-Kart to KZ. In Ile de France, for example, the young driver Milane Petelet has collected victories. After the Stars of Karting Prem’s at Arvillers and Inter-Club Challenge at Angerville, he took the prefinals and finals in the first two rounds of the Ile de France Regional Championship. The driver from the Ferro Motor Sport team and his Alpha chassis were impressive.

The Southern Championship at Ales saw a double for Alpha in Mini-Kart with Lucas Savry and Loris Cabirou. In KZ125, Yoann Sanchez has emerged, while Julien Bourguignon took 4th place. Luan Fernandez won the prefinal in Minime, before finishing second in the final. And in Nord-Picardie, Peter Deray was on the podium KZ125 Gentleman, where he is one of the candidates for the title after his stunning start to the season.

Without a doubt, the major national events coming up will be good for Alpha Karting …
