Cooke ahead of Oman in the Micro Max Super Heat

The RMCIT Super Heat Micro Max took place in sunny Le Mans on Saturday morning. Joshua Cooke (GBR – Kosmic/Rotax) led from Alfie Mair (GBR – ZIP/Rotax) and Austin Oman (GBR – Exprit/Rotax), followed by Charlie Page (GBR – Synergy/Rotax) and Dominik Rozsa (HUN – Croc Promotion/Rotax). Mair moved up to 1st position with an incredible gain of 15 places. But Cooke and Oman immediately passed him again. Cooke and Oman pulled away ahead of Mair and Page, followed by Rozsa. Cooke won 0.160” ahead of Oman, who was later penalised for his start. Mair regained 2nd place ahead of Page. Albi-Jay Stubbs (GBR-ZIP/Rotax) was 5th. After some good battles, Marc Andria Quesada (FRA – Tony Kart/Rotax) was 6th, Baptiste Agustin (FRA – Energy/Rotax) was 14th after a complicated start to the race, but was penalised 19th because of his front fairing. Théo Esquirol (FRA – Tony Kart/Rotax) was 20th, Paul Thoinard (FRA – Tony Kart/Rotax) 21st and Jules Chech (FRA – Kosmic/Rotax) 22nd.
