Junior Max: Scelles takes pole position at Le Mans

The weather was fine at Le Mans for the Junior Max Qualifying session, with temperatures of 22°C on Thursday morning.

Group 1: Scelles – 53‘’738
Luka Scelles (FRA – EOS/Rotax) was quick off the mark in Group 1 despite some fierce competition. He set a time of 53’738 on lap 5, 56 thousandths ahead of Matthéo Dauvergne (FRA – Kosmic/Rotax). Dragos Avasilcutei (Tony Kart/Rotax) followed at 64 thousandths, then Noah Janssen (DEU – KR/Rotax) finished 4th by a tenth and Lewis Goff (GBR – Exprit/Rotax) 5th.

Group 2: Palmer – 53‘’908
Lap 3 delivered the verdict of the session with Theo Palmer (ARE – Energy/Rotax) setting the fastest time of 53‘’908, followed 43 thousandths behind Jacob Ashcroft (GBR – LN/Rotax). Mathis Aumaître (FRA – Alonso Kart/Rotax) was 3rd, 2 tenths behind Kaiden Higgins (ARE – Kosmic/Rotax) and Boaz Maximov (NLD – Tony Kart/Rotax).
