KZ2 Masters: Abbasse on pole ahead of Foré at Alcaniz

34 drivers aged 35 and over took part in the KZ2 Masters Qualifying Practice for the Mondokart.com FIA Karting European Championship at the MotorLand Aragón circuit in Spain. The weather was hot (31°) and sunny in Alcaniz.

Davide Foré (Birel ART/TM) was fastest on the second lap ahead of Alessio La Martina (KR/Iame) and Anthony Abbasse (Sodi/TM). The Frenchman regained the lead on lap 3 in 1’00”253, Foré was 2nd at 42 thousandths, then Riccardo Nalon (Parolin/TM) 3rd at 0.122”. La Martina was 4th and Kristijan Habulin (TB Kart/TM) 5th. Thomas Mich (Birel ART/TM) was 6th, 2 tenths behind, Brice De Gaye (CRG/TM) and Sébastien Leder (Sodi/TM) were 12th and 13th, Ludovic Badey (Birel ART/TM) 20th, Grégory Leder (Sodi/TM) 21st and Emmanuel Ducrot (Sodi/TM) 25th.
