OKN-Junior: Van Staveren and Molota win the Prefinals

WSK Euro Series – Round 1 Franciacorta – Sunday 30th June – dry track, sun and a few clouds, 32° – Prefinals – OKN-Junior – Vega tyres

Prefinal A: victory for Van Staveren
Lyuboslav Ruykov (Tony Kart/TM) replaced Billy Van Staveren (Parolin/TM) in the lead, followed by Antonio Reginal Pizzonia Neto (KR/Iame) and Ludovico Mazzola (Tony Kart/Vortex). The battle intensified between the top four, joined by Pietro Bagutti (Tony Kart/TM) and Sebastian Eskandari-Marandi (Tony Kart/Vortex). Van Staveren and Ruykov tried to break away at the front. Van Staveren won despite the return of Pizzonia ahead of Eskandari. Ruykov was 4th and Bagutti 5th.

Prefinal B: Molota wins
Lucas Bonhomme (Tony Kart/Vortex) got off to a difficult start, 9th on the first lap. Giacomo Giusto (Parolin/TM) took the lead ahead of Alex Molota (Gillard/TM) and Victoria Farfus (KR/Iame). Valerio Viapiana (KR/Iame) and Cristiano Tonalini (Tony Kart/TM) chased down the leading group, now led by Molota and Farfus. At the halfway point, Molota had a lead of almost a second over Viapiana and Giusto. Molota was 2.6″ ahead of Viapiana and Giusto. Farfus finished 4th ahead of Bonhomme, who came back strongly at the end of the race.
