OKN-Junior Final: Pizzonia leads the way

WSK Euro Series – 1/2 Franciacorta – Sunday 30th June – dry track, sun and a few clouds, 32° – OKN-Junior Final – Vega tyres

Billy Van Staveren (Parolin/TM) was followed by Antonio Reginal Pizzonia Neto (KR/Iame) who immediately took the lead ahead of Giacomo Giusto (Parolin/TM). Alex Molota (Gillard/TM) had lost ground in 5th position behind Lyuboslav Ruykov (Tony Kart/TM). Lucas Bonhomme (Tony Kart/Vortex) went on the attack for P6. Valerio Viapiana (KR/Iame) had moved up to 5th. At the halfway stage, Pizzonia was still 3 tenths ahead of Van Staveren, followed by Giusto in 3rd and Ruykov in 4th. Sebastian Eskandari-Marandi (Tony Kart/Vortex) was making a strong comeback in 8th position. Pizzonia remained solid right to the end to take a fine victory 6 tenths ahead of vn Staveren, followed by Giusto. 4th place went to Ruykov, with Molota 5th andEskandari 6th. Bonhomme lost the benefit of 8th place by retiring.
