The skies were clear in Sarno on Thursday lunchtime for the OK-Junior Qualifying session, with a temperature of 16°. The track had dried out since Free Practice in the morning.
Scott Lindblom (Tony Kart/Vortex) opened the scoring at the top of the timesheet against Oliver Kinmark (Tony Kart/TM). Iskender Zulfikari (KR/Iame) then claimed pole position in 55’374 on the third lap, 64 thousandths ahead of Lindblom. Christian Costoya (Parolin/TM) followed in 3rd at 0.125”, while Niklas Schaufler (KR/Iame) finished 4th ahead of Ilie Tristan Crisan (Tony Kart/Vortex) and Lev Krutogolov (Tony Kart/Iame). Dean Hoogendoorn (KR/Iame) was 8th and Dries van Langendonck (Exprit/TM) 13th.
