Miron Lorente takes the lead in the Mini heats at Franciacorta

At the third round of the WSK Super Master Series in Franciacorta, Daniel Miron Lorente (KR/Iame) made no bones about winning his two Mini Gr.3 Qualifying Heats from 16th position in Qualifying. Leonardo Gorski (Tony Kart/Vortex) also came back well from 13th to 2nd ahead of Alessandro Truchot (Parolin/Iame), the winner of the first heat. Julian Frasnelli (Parolin/Iame) and William Calleja (Parolin/Iame) completed the top five ahead of Albert Tamm (Parolin/Iame) and Mark Pilipenko (Parolin/Iame), making a total of five Babyrace Driver Academy drivers. Cristian Blandino (Tgroup/TM) had moved up 16 places to 8th ahead of Gioele Girardello (Parolin/TM) and Nikita Botte (Lenzo/LKE). Maxim Bobreshov (KR/Iame), 2nd in Qualifying, and poleman Antoine Venant (KR/Iame) dropped back to 12th and 14th respectively. Zack Zhu (EKS/TM) was 23rd. Lucas Bonhomme (Exprit/Vortex) ended up in hospital for checks after being hit by an electric scooter in the paddock.
