Nellegard the Mini U10 poleman

62 drivers under the age of 10 took part in the Mini U10 Qualifying phase of the WSK Super Master Series at Lonato in temperatures of 7°C, despite the sunshine.

Session 1: Di Pietrantonio – 52”333
Lorenzo Di Pietrantonio (Parolin/Iame) set the fastest time – 52”333 on his fourth and final run, 0.170” ahead of Jason Kosmopoulos (TG Group/TM). Stepan Mazepin (OTK/TM) followed at more than 2 tenths, Rocco Simone (KR/Iame) finished 4th and Mason Robertson (Parolin/Iame) 5th.

Session 2: Nellegard – 52”325
The positions were decided at the last moment in the second and third laps of the session. Carl Nellegard (Tony Kart/TM) narrowly secured pole position in 52’325, followed by Niccolo Perico (Energy/TM) 3 hundredths behind. Lucas Palaccio (KR/Iame) was 3rd, 2 tenths off the pace, while Jean Poujol (Parolin/Iame) was 4th ahead of David Moscardi (Birel ART/TM) and Leon Chelidze (KR/Iame).
