OK-NJ Prefinal: Viapina wins despite Cosma Cristofor

Valerio Viapiana (KR/Iame) started in the lead, but Japan’s Sara Matsui (KR/Iame) quickly took control. Lyuboslav Ruykov (Tony Kart/TM) was back in 3rd place, followed by Bogdan Cosma-Cristofor (Exprit/TM) and Alex Molota (OTK/TM), with Viapiana back in P1 on the sixth lap. Ruykov moved up to 2nd position a few laps later, before Cosma-Cristofor and Molota in turn overtook Matsui. Cosma Cristofor moved up to 2nd place on lap 13 and set off in pursuit of Viapiana. Molota attacked Ruykov a few laps later and Molota followed suit. Viapian took the lead despite the growing threat from Cosma Cristofor. Molota took advantage of a missed attempt by the Romanian to finish 2nd. Ruykov finished 4th and Matsui 5th.
