Not all the fastest drivers in Qualifying were so lucky in the OK Qualifying Heats of the WSK Champions Cup. Jindrich Pesl (Intrepid/TM) and Zac Drummond (Parolin/TM), for example, missed their first heat before the start. As a result, they fell back to 6th and 10th despite showing good competitiveness afterwards. Salim Hanna (KR/Iame) managed to take the lead thanks to a win and two 2nd places over Ean Eyckmans (Birel ART/TM) and Anatoly Khavalkin (Parolin/TM), who moved up 10 places. Oleksandr Bondarev (KR/Iame) was 4th ahead of Guy Albag (KR/Iame). Malo Bolliet (KR/Iame) was back in 7th place ahead of Dante Vinci (KR/Iame). Andy Consani (Sodi/TM) held on to 23rd place, while Hugo Herrouin (KR/Iame) made up some ground in 26th place.
