Costoya tops the OK-Junior standings after the Lonato heats

Christian Costoya (Parolin/TM) took command of the intermediate standings with three wins and a 3rd place in the OK-Junior heats of the WSK Champions Cup at Lonato. Thanks to his two victories, Niklas Schaufler (KR/Iame) climbed from 11th to 2nd place ahead of Rocco Coronel (KR/Iame), who was ahead of Filippo Sala (LN/TM) and Dries van Langendonck (Exprit/TM), both double winners. Roman Kamyab (LN/TM) was back in 6th place (+7 places), Dean Hoogendoorn (KR/Iame) was 7th and poleman Borys Lyzen (Sodi/TM) crashed out in 17th place after retiring in the first heat. Thomas Pradier (KR/Iame) also lost ground in 23rd position after failing to start his second heat. Aloïs Girardet (Energy/TM) was 24th, Matéo Rivals (Sodi/TM) 49th and Téo Battisti (Sodi/TM) 58th.
