WSK Champions Cup: Lyzen poleman in OK-Junior with Sodi

63 OK-Junior drivers gathered in Lonato for Qualifying Practice for the WSK Champions Cup. The track was dry, the skies were clear and the temperature was 7°C for both sessions.

Session 1: Sala – 47”750
Dean Hoogenddorn (KR/Iame) and Filippo Sala (LN/TM) took turns at the front, with Thomas Pradier (KR/Iame) 3rd. Sala eventually set the fastest lap with 47’750, with Dries van Langendonck (Exprit/TM) 66 thousandths back in 2nd, followed by Hoogendoorn 5 thousandths back. Pradier finished 4th, almost 2 tenths back. Aloïs Girardet (Energy/TM) was 10th and Téo Battisti (Sodi/TM) 16th.

Session 2: Lyzen – 47”708
Borys Lyzen (Sodi/TM) found his place at the top of the table ahead of Niklas Schaufler (KR/Iame). Arjen Kraling (KR/Iame) then took the lead, with Rocco Coronel (KR/Iame) tasting 3rd place. Lyzen finished on pole position with 47’708, followed 46 thousandths behind Christian Costoya (Parolin/TM). Iacopo Martinese (KR/Iame) was 3rd ahead of Coronel and Kraling. Matéo Rivals (Sodi/TM) finished 16th.
