The 72 Junior MAX drivers equipped with Praga chassis then set off for their Timed session in two separate groups as the temperature reached 25°C at the RMCGF 2023 in Bahrain.

Odd: El Feghali – 54”304
Two drivers went off the track at the start of the session and brought sand back onto the track. Clovis Nougueyrède (FRA) led on his first run, ahead of Martim Barros Meneses (PRT) and Christopher El Feghali (LBN). Thomas Pradier (FRA) moved into 2nd place, followed by Kenzo Craigie (GBR). El Feghali topped the timesheets with a time of 54’304, 27 thousandths ahead of Craigie and Nougueyrède in 3rd, just a tenth off the pace. Brett King was 4th and Meneses 5th. Pradier, who had dominated Free Practice, was only 8th.

Even: Comyn – 54”199
Louis Comyn (FRA) immediately moved to the top of the rankings. Joshua Graham (GBR) took over from him, ahead of Nixx Eggleston (USA) and Luka Scelles (FRA). Comyn regained the lead and finished on pole position with a superb final lap of 54’199, two tenths ahead of Lu You-De (JPN), then Teo Sidler (CHE), Kacper Schormans (NLD) 4th and Lucas Delongchamps (CAN) 5th. Tom Dussol (FRA) was 8th and Scelles 11th.
