Mini U10: Miron Lorente and Robertson shine in the Prefinals

The temperature did not exceed 7° on Sunday morning in Franciacorta for the Mini U10 Prefinals of the WSK Final Cup.

Prefinal A: victory for Miron Lorente
Mark Loomets (Energy/TM) was hot on the heels of Daniel Miron Lorente (KR/Iame) with Nicolo Perico (Energy/TM) not far behind in 3rd place. While the duel was in full swing between the top two separated by less than a tenth, Xavier Lazzaro (DR/TM) was back in 3rd ahead of Rocco Simone (KR/Iame). Miron took the lead on lap 7, while Loomets dropped back to 4th for a moment. Simone was leading going into the final lap, but Miron got the better of him before being penalised 344 for bad manoeuvres, and Simone regained 1st place ahead of Loomets, Blazer Kostrzewa (Parolin/Iame) was 3rd and Lorenzo Di Pietrantonio (Parolin/Iame) 4th. Lino Pedraza (KR/Iame) finished 11th.

Prefinal B: Robertson makes his mark
Alessandro Nanni (EKS/TM) took the lead from Stan Fagot (Alonso Kart/Iame) at the start, with Lucas Bonhomme (Exprit/Vortex) in 3rd place. The two Frenchmen quickly regained the initiative, while Jean Poujol (Parolin/Iame) made a superb start to the race in 11th place, with an express gain of 13 places. Mason Robertson (Parolin/Iame) contested 2nd place with Nanni, who was in the lead after half the race. His duel for victory with Robertson attracted a lot of attention in the final laps. Robertson won, Fagot finished 2nd ahead of Herni Kumpen (Parolin/Iame), Nanni was 4th and Davide Di Filippo (Parolin/Iame) 5th. Poujol lost the benefit of his incredible comeback by falling 27th with Bonhomme 28th.
