Mini U10 Final: superb victory for Perico

Niccolo Perico (Energy/TM) took the lead on the first lap of the Mini U10 Final in Lonato, followed by Mark Loomets (Energy/TM) and Jason Kosmopoulos (Energy/TM). Lorenzo Di Pietrantonio (Parolin/Iame) came 4th ahead of Henri Kumpen (Parolin/Iame) and Daniel Miron Lorente (KR/Iame). The Leader Perico had already opened up a gap of 7 tenths in 3 laps. Jean Poujol (Parolin/Iame) was 7th and Lucas Bonhomme (Exprit/Vortex) 11th with the fastest time of the day. Kosmopoulos and Di Pietrantonio were very close to 2nd-placed Loomets. They went on the attack on the seventh lap and each gained a position. Perico then had a full second’s lead with two laps to go. The Energy Corse driver won 1.3 seconds ahead of Kosmopoulos and Di Pietrantonio, 2 tenths off the pace. Loomets finished 4th followed by Miron, then Poujol 6th ahead of Kumpen. Bonhomme was back in the top 10, while Lino Pedrazza (KR/Iame) moved up six places to 18th.
