The 64 Mini drivers under the age of 10 set off in two sessions for the time trials of the WSK Final Cup at Lonato in sunshine and temperatures of 12°C.

Session 1: Loomets – 52”919
Mark Loomets (Energy/TM) was very quick, setting the fastest time of 52’919, 0.166s ahead of Daniele Pasquali (KR/Iame) and Henri Kumpen (Parolin/Iame). Ksawery Dudkowski (KR/Iame) was 4th and Gabriele Iacomelli (EKS/TM) 5th.

Session 2: Miron Lorente – 52”665
The battle was more closely contested, with many of the drivers waiting until the last moment to take to the track. Daniel Miron Lorente (KR/Iame) took pole position with 52’665 on his last run, 54 thousandths ahead of Lorenzo Leopardi (Birel ART/TM). Jason Kosmopoulos (Energy/TM) followed in 3rd place ahead of Nicolo Perico (Energy/TM) and Blazej Kostrzewa (Parolin/Iame). Lucas Bonhomme (Exprit/Vortex) finished 8th and Lino Pedrazza (KR/Iame) 15th.
