Matveev on pole in OK in Lonato

There were 54 drivers in the OK category at Lonato for the WSK Final Cup Timed Practice on Friday morning, in sunshine and temperatures of 11°.

Session 1: Pavan – 46”619
Oleksandr Bondarev (KR/Iame) took the lead from Sebastiano Pavan (Tony Kart/Vortex). Pavan nevertheless finished fastest with a sixth lap of 46”619, 21 thousandths quicker. Ean Eyckmans (Birel ART/TM) was 3rd ahead of Thibaut Ramaekers (KR/Iame) and Salim Hanna (KR/Iame). Clément Outran (KR/Iame) was 15th and Andrea Dupé (KR/Iame) 18th.

Session 2: Matveev – 46”563
Gustaw Wisniewski (Tony Kart/Iame) led the session, in contact with Luigi Coluccio (Tony Kart/Vortex) and Dmitry Matveev (KR/Iame). Matveev finished in the lead with a time of 46”563, with Jiri Becicka (IPK/TM) 33 thousandths back in 2nd, Coluccio a tenth further back in 3rd, Wisniewski 4th and Simone Bianco (CRG/Iame) 5th. Hugo Martiniello (KR/Iame) was 15th.
