WSK Euro Series: Matveev on OK pole in Sarno

It didn’t take long for the 21 OK drivers to take to the track on their LeCont tyres for Qualifying Practice for the second round of the WSK Euro Series in Sarno. Anatoly Khavalkin (Parolin/TM) led every lap, ahead of Guy Albag (Exprit/TM) and Gustav Wisniewski (Tony Kart/Iame). The positions changed with every lap until the end of the session. Dmitry Matveev snatched pole position at the last moment with a sixth lap of 53”790. He was 65 thousandths quicker than Salim Hanna (KR/Iame) and a tenth quicker than Zac Drummond (Parolin/TM). Kirill Kutskov finished 4th at 0.164”, then Khavalkin 5th at more than 3 tenths. Andrea Dupé (KR/Iame) was 15th, less than 7 tenths back.
