Illife poleman OK-Junior in WSK Euro Series in Sarno

The sun returned and the Sarno track continued to dry out during OK-Junior Qualifying Practice for Round 2 of the WSK Euro Series.

Session 1: Illife – 55”499
Iacopo Martinese (KR/Iame) initially took the lead, but Jack Illife (Parolin/TM) set the fastest lap in 55’499 on the fourth lap, with Oliver Kinmark (Tony Kart/Iame) 11 thousandths off the pace. Martinese finished 3rd at 45 thousandths, with Kosei Oguma (KR/Iame) 4th and Gerasim Skulanov (KR/Iame) 5th at 0.69”.

Session 2: Schaufler – 55”864
It wasn’t until the final lap that the times dropped below 56”. Niklas Schaufler (KR/Iame) was finally the fastest with 55”864, 25 thousandths ahead of Filippo Sala (LN/TM). Lewis Wherrell (Exprit/TM) was 3rd at 0.162”, while Klara Kowalczyk (LN/TM) was 4th. David Cosma Cristofor (KR/Iame) finished 5th, 2 tenths behind.
