Franciacorta: Lindblom takes OK-Junior pole for WSK Euro Series

OK-Junior Qualifying for the WSK Euro Series brought together 103 drivers in three groups on Friday morning at Franciacorta. The skies were sunny and the temperature rose to 22°C.

Session 1: Monza – 48”749
Tiziano Monza (Parolin/TM) was fastest in 48’749 on his second lap, followed by Lewis Francis (KR/Iame) at 0.165s. Enzo Nienkotter (CRG/TM) took 3rd place ahead of Luna Fluxa Cross (KR/Iame) and Ludovico Busso (Tony Kart/TM).

Session 2: Lindblom – 48”589
Taym Saleh (KR/Iame) and Oleksandr Bondarev (KR/Iame) improved in the second session, but it was Scott Kin Lindblom (Tony Kart/Vortex) who was the fastest in 48”589 ahead of Louis Cochet (Sodi/TM) 28 thousandths behind. Kirill Dzitiev (Tony Kart/Vortex) finished 5th at 0.189”. Andy Consani (Parolin/TM) was 8th, Thomas Quincé (Tony Kart/Vortex) 15th and Aloïs Girardet (CRG/TM) 18th.

Session 3: Schaufler – 48”61
Niklas Schaufler (KR/Iame) set the fastest time in Session 3 in 48’615 ahead of Elliot Kaczynski (Tony Kart/Vortex) and Christian Costoya (Parolin/TM), 8 hundredths off the pace. Jack Illife (Parolin/TM) was 4th and Killian Josseron (Sodi/TM) 5th. Walter Schulz (KR/Iame) finished 8th.
