MacAndrew-Uren wins a thrilling Micro Max Final

Jenson Chalk (Kosmic/Rotax) and Emerson MacAndrew-Uren (LN/Rotax) were neck and neck on the first lap, with Emerson taking the lead on the first pass ahead of Jenson. Riley Murro (Exprit/Rotax) was 3rd followed by Senn Lindeman (Birel ART/Rotax), who attacked him on the third lap. Zack Zhu (Alonso Kart/Rotax), who didn’t get off to a great start, was back in the top five. Oliver Warner (KR/Rotax) moved up to 3rd ahead of Zhu. The gap to the leading duo was closing. Chalk went on the attack and took 1st position before the halfway mark. Warner was now just fiv tenths behind the runner-up. MacAndrew-Uren moved back into P1 on lap 7 of the 11-lap race, allowing Warner and Zhu to join forces. They both passed Chalk, now 4th. Lindeman was 5th at 1.6″. Warner tried to attack, but found himself back in 4th place, with MacAndrew-Ursen leading from Zhu and Chalk. The battle on the final lap was epic. MacAndrew-Uren won by 14 thousandths from Chalk. Zhu was 3rd fastest followed by Warner. Unfortunately, Zhu was later disqualified. Warner secured 3rd place in front of Lindeman and Jack Freeman (LN/Rotax).
