The rain seemed to have disappeared from the programme on Saturday morning for the RMCIT Junior Max Super Heats at Le Mans, while the clouds began to reveal a few patches of blue sky.

Philippe Armand Karras (Kosmic/Rotax) led the first lap ahead of Antoine Grisel (Kosmic/Rotax) and Max Cuthbert (Sodi/Rotax). Poleman Alberto Kiko Fracassi (Tony Kart/Rotax) was 4th. Grisel took the lead on the second lap, with Fracassi coming back in 2nd. The positions kept changing. Fracassi was leading on the third lap ahead of Armand Hamilton (Tony Kart/Rotax) and Luka Scelles (Sodi/Rotax). Hamilton took the lead on the fourth lap. Grisel then came back to 6th place, while Scelles was 8th. Jure Levar (Kosmic/Rotax) moved up 17 places to 11th. Hamilton extended his lead over Fracassi, now followed by Beau Lowette (Tony Kart/Rotax). Ingram Hill was 4th and Cuthbert 5th. These two drivers clashed with two laps to go and dropped to the bottom of the standings. Fracassi recovered the P1 on the penultimate lap and won the race 0.145″ ahead of Hamilton. Lowette finished 3rd ahead of Karras and Scelles for the top five. Victor Galmiche (Tony Kart/Rotax) was 6th, Grisel was 9th. Hugo Lacroix (KR/Rotax), Gabriel Hugon (Exprit/Rotax) and Elyo Giltaire (Tony Kart/Rotax) retired.
