Gravouille confirms in the Super Heat in DD2 Max Masters

On Saturday morning, the RMCIT Super Heat for DD2 Max Masters was being prepared under threatening skies. A few drops escaped from the low, heavy clouds before the start. Maxime Gravouille (Kosmic/Rotax) started from the front row alongside Jannik Nielsen (Tony Kart/Rotax). Gravouille started in the lead, with Romain Mangé (LN/Rotax) following in front of Nielsen and Lennart Schreiber (MS Kart/Rotax) in 4th place. Florian Bourdon (Birel ART/Rotax) was up to 6th ahead of Charles Seguin (Tony Kart/Rotax) and Vivien Cussac-Picot (Tony Kart/Rotax). At the front, Gravouille saw his lead shrink against Mangé and Schreiber. Olivier Paris (Tony Kart/Rotax) was back in 9th position. Nielsen moved up to 3rd ahead of Schreiber with one lap to go. Gravouille eventually won 5 tenths ahead of Mangé, Nielsen 3rd, Schreiber 4th and Andreas Matis (Gillard/Rotax). Bourdon finished 6th, Seguin 7th was penalised 11th, Cussac-Picot took 7th ahead of Paris 8th.
