Academy Qualifying Test: Woda fastest

40 drivers took part in the last meeting of the Academy Trophy on the Cremona circuit on Vega tyres. The weather was fine and warm with 28° air temperature. The gaps between the top drivers were sometimes considerable.

Session 1: Woda – 49”720
Rocco Coronel (NLD) was quick on his first flying lap. Wojciech Woda (POL) overtook him on his second run and set the fastest time in 49’720. Arthur Broughan (NZL) finished 2nd at 0.357”, Coronel 3rd, Romeo Haagh (DNK) 4th and Simon Mayer (AUT) 5th at 5 tenths. Max Walton (AUS) was 9th.

Session 2: Marti – 49”952
The last to leave the pre-grid took to the track while others began their third lap. Lisa BIllard (FRA) was immediately in 1st place ahead of Hugo Marti (ESP) and Vasileios Apostolidis (GRC). Marti went on to set the fastest time of 49’952, with Lisa retaining 2nd place 68 thousandths ahead of Gaspar Benett (HUN), Markus Silkunas (LTU) and Harry Bartie (GBR). Apostolidis finished 7th and Marius Barry-Berg (NOR) 11th.
