Coluccio sets the fastest OK time in Cremona

OK Qualifying was a very close affair between the best drivers at Cremona for the fourth round of the Champions of the Future Euro Series. 73 drivers competed in three groups under partly overcast skies and temperatures of around 25°C, putting in an average of five laps in each session.

Group 1: Molnar – 47”541
Martin Molnar (Energy/TM) made the difference on his fifth run with a time of 47”541, which relegated Enzo Tarnvanichkul (KR/Iame) by just under a tenth. Xavier Aramides (KR/Iame) was 3rd at 0.175”, followed by Kirill Kutskov (KR/Iame) and Dante Vince (KR/Iame) at 0.276”. Guillaume Bouzar (Tony Kart/Vortex) finished 17th just behind Kean Nakamura-Berta (KR/Iame).

Group 2: Coluccio – 47”533
Luigi Coluccio (Tony Kart/Vortex) set the benchmark, 47”533, on the third of his five laps. His team-mate Sebastiano Pavan (Tony Kart/Vortex) was just a tenth behind him, while Neo Nilsson (Tony Kart/Vortex) finished 3rd, followed by Miguel Costa (Parolin/TM) and Dmitry Matveev (KR/Iame). Arthur Poulain (KR/Iame) was 6th and Clément Outran (KR/Iame) 14th.

Group 3: Lammers – 47”589
René Lammers (Parolin/TM) wasn’t far off the mark with his final lap in 47’589. Thomas Strauven (KR/Iame) was 2nd by 41 thousandths, Louis Iglesias (CRG/Iame) 3rd by a tenth, two tenths faster than Alex Powell (KR/Iame) and Emanuele Olivieri (IPK/TM) 5th. Disqualified for weight, Maximilian Popov (KR/Iame) lost the benefit of his 4th place performance.
