F1 – Vertsappen and Norris on the front row at Silverstone: a story that began in karting

The front row of the starting grid for the 2023 British Forula 1 Grand Prix brings together two drivers who have known each other well, even though they have never competed against each other in karting. On 21 July 2013, at Ortona in Italy, Max Vertsappen (CRG/TM/Vega) won the European KF Championship by finishing 2nd in the final, in which Valentin Moineault (ART GP/TM/Vega) had won. At the same time, Lando Norris (FA Kart/Vortex/LeCont) was crowned European KF-Junior Champion. This well deserved to be immortalised in a KSP photo.
