Sarno: Albanese takes KZ pole position

The 31 KZ drivers present at Sarno for the second round of the European Championship competed in Qualifying in temperatures of 33°C and clear skies. The drivers gradually took to the track from 3’30 onwards.

Stan Pex (KR/TM) was one of the fastest in action with a time of 54”053 on his first run, followed by Riccardo Longhi (Birel ART/TM) in under 54”. Danilo Albanese (KR/Iame) regained the lead on the second lap in 53”324. Senna van Walstijn (Sodi/TM) improved his time on the third lap to take 2nd place by 78 thousandths, ahead of Jérémy Iglesias (CRG/TM). Lorenzo Travisanutto (Parolin/TM) was 4th at 0.178” ahead of Arthur Carbonnel (CRG/TM) and Tom Leuillet (Tony Kart/Vortex) 6th. Stan Pex was 12th, Emilien Denner (Sodi/TM) 16th and Adrien Renaudin (DR/Modena) 17th. Alessandro Irlando (Grago/TM) made his comeback in 19th place.
