Rødby – Coronel takes Academy Trophy pole position

The skies were slowly clearing over Rødby for Qualifying Practice for the 44 FIA Karting Academy Trophy drivers.

Session 1: Panetta – 52”844
Santino Panetta (ARG) was quickest with 52’844 on lap 2, ahead of Romeo Haagh (DNK) and Cristian Tonalini (ITA). Karel Staut (CHE) then moved up to 2nd at 15 thousandths, while Lorenzo Campos (AGO) was back in 3rd at 51 thousandths. Haagh was 4th at 1.5 tenths and Hugo Marti (ESP) 5th.

Série 2 : Coronel – 52’’640
Rocco Coronel (NLD) devançait Marius Barry-Berg (NOR) et Arthur Broughan (NZL) au 2e passage. Les temps ne progressaient plus guère par la suite. Coronel conservait la pole position en 52’’640, mais Lisa BiSession 2: Coronel – 52”640
Rocco Coronel (NLD) was ahead of Marius Barry-Berg (NOR) and Arthur Broughan (NZL) on the second lap. The times didn’t improve much after that. Coronel retained pole position in 52’640, but Lisa Billard (FRA) closed to within 8 thousandths on lap 6, a tenth ahead of Broughan and Barry-Berg. Vasileios Apostolidis (GRC) was 5th ahead of Max Walton (AUS).
