Prefinal OK: Strauven and Sambudla win

Prefinal A: Strauven fast winner
Nathan Tye (Sodi/TM) immediately followed Thomas Strauven (KR/Iame) while Kirill Kutskov (KR/Iame) was 6th. Simon Reichenmacher (KR/Iame) was ahead of Miguel Costa (Parolin/TM) and Luigi Coluccio (Tony Kart/Vortex). Costa was 3rd, Coluccio 4th and Kutskov 5th on lap three. Maxens Verbrugge (Parolin/TM) had a very good start with 12 places gained in 13th position. Strauven had already built up a lead of 1,2” at the front of the race. Tye was trying to get away from Costa to consolidate his P2. At the halfway point, Strauven had set several fastest times and had a 2.4″ lead over Tye. Kiano Blum (KR/Iame) entered the top five ahead of Kutskov. Incredibly fast (+3 tenths/lap) Strauven was almost 4” ahead of Tye. Costa secured 3rd position, Blum was 4th and Kutskov 5th. Verbrugge finished 11th.

Prefinal B: Sambudla on the line
Sebastiano Pavan (Tony Kart/Vortex) finished the first lap in the lead ahead of Tomass Stolcermanis (Energy/TM) and Luviwe Sambudla (KR/Iame); Louis Iglesias (CRG/Iame) was 4th and Anatoly Khavalkin (Parolin/TM) 5th. Jimmy Hélias (Tony Kart/Vortex) had retired. Arthur Poulain (Tony Kart/Vortex) started well and was already back in 8th place, followed by Guillaume Bouzar (Tony Kart/Vortex). Iglesias quickly attacked Stolcermanis for 3rd position. Andrea Dupé (Sodi/TM) retired after a good start. Stolcermanis recovered 3rd place and set a fastest time. Sambudla remained in the wake of Pavan with victory in his sights. In an epic final lap, Sambudla snatched the win and Stolcermanis the P2 from 3rd-placed Pavan. James Egozi (Tony Kart/Vortex) took 4th and Khavalkin 5th. Iglesias had lost ground in 8th, Bouzar finished 10th, Poulain 12th.
