Mini Final: victory for Calleja, title for Zulfikari

The ingredients for an exciting race were in place with Noah Baglin (KR/Iame) and William Calleja (Parolin/Iame) on the front row of the WSK Super Master Series Mini Final in Cremona followed by Bosco Arias Chavarri (KR/Iame) and Iskender Zulfikari (Parolin/Iame), then Bogdan Cosma Cristofor (KR/Iame) and Dean Hoogendoorn (KR/Iame).

Arias Chavarri was unable to start. Baglin led ahead of Calleja and Zulfikari. Andrea Manni (Parolin/TM) lost 12 places in T1. Calleja took the lead followed by Zulfikari ahead of Baglin. Cosma Cristofor was 4th, Keelan Harvick (Parolin/Iame) 5th ahead of Illie Tristan Crisan (Tony Kart/Vortex). At the halfway point, the top three drivers were still together. Calleja was leading ahead of his team mate Zulfikari on his way to the title. In 4th, Cosma Cristofor was nearly 2 seconds behind. Calleja accelerated again at the end of the race and won comfortably with the fastest time and an 8 tenths lead. Zulfikari finished 2nd and winner of the Championship ahead of Baglin, Cosma Cristofor and Crisan. In 8th, Dean Hoogendoorn (KR/Iame) secured 2nd place in the Championship. Manni finished 24th.
