Arias Chavarri and Zulfikari win the Mini Prefinals

The temperature was close to 20°C in Cremona for the Mini Prefinals of the WSK Super Master Series.

Prefinal A: Arias Chavarri a solid winner Noah Baglin (KR/Iame) kept the lead after the first lap ahead of Bosco Arias Chavarri (KR/Iame) and Bogdan Cosma Cristofor (KR/Iame). Vladimir Ivannikov (EKS/TM) was 4th and Bruno Gryc (Parolin/TM) 5th. Cristian Blandino (CRG/Iame) had made a breakthrough of nine places in 8th position. Arias Chavarri took the lead on the fourth lap. Blandino set a fastest time while reaching 6th place. It was a close race in the leading trio, but Arias Chavarri resisted the pressure until the end to take a fine victory. Cosma Cristofor overtook Baglin on the last lap for 2nd place. Ivannikov finished 4th, Gryc lost out to Blandino for 5th place.

Prefinal B: unexpected victory for Zulfikari William Calleja (Parolin/Iame) led at the start, Keelan Harvick (Parolin/Iame) came in between in P2 ahead of Dean Hoogendoorn (KR/Iame) and Ilie Tristan Crisan (Tony Kart/Vortex). Iskender Zulfikari (Parolin/Iame) and Crisan then overtook Hoogendoorn in 3rd and 4th positions. Calleja had a lead of up to 9 tenths, but Harvick tried to reduce the gap under pressure from Zulfikari behind him. The Turkish driver took 2nd position mid-race but Calleja continued to lead. After some difficulties at the beginning of the race, Andrea Manni (Parolin/TM) set a fastest time and entered the top 10. Zulfikari took advantage of an unexpected slowdown by Calleja to take the lead and win. Calleja found enough energy to overtake Harvick and finish 2nd. Bruno Blanco (Parolin/Iame) secured 4th place after a nine-place climb. Manni finished 10th.
