OK: Strauven the poleman ahead of Iglesias

The OK category was strong with 54 drivers in Cremona for the Qualifying of the fourth round of the WSK Super Master Series.

Session 1: Strauven – 46”062
Thomas Strauven (KR/Iame) set a superb fourth lap of 46’062, leaving his team-mate Luviwe Sambudla (KR/Iame) 0.175s behind. Kirill Kustkov (KR/Iame) followed by 2 tenths, Xavier Avramides (KR/Iame) was 4th and Enzo Tarnvanichkul (KR/Iame) 5th. The KR / IAME domination stretched to 6th position with Lenn Nijs (KR/Iame). Dante Vinci (LN/Vortex) took 7th place. Guillaume Bouzar (Tony Kart/Vortex) was 13th, Maxens Verbrugge (Parolin/TM) finished 15th ahead of Rene Lammers (Parolin/TM) and Arthur Poulain (Tony Kart/Vortex) in 19th.

Session 2: Iglesias – 46”189
For his second WSK event of the year, Louis Iglesias (CRG/Iame) started in a good position again with the best time of his session, 46”189. Nicolo Cuman (Exprit/TM) was 2nd by 8 hundredths and Jimmy Helias (Tony Kart/Vortex) 3rd by less than a tenth. Maciej Gladysz (LN/Vortex) took 4th place ahead of the Sodi boys Andrea Dupé (Sodi/TM) and Nathan Tye (Sodi/TM) at 1.5 tenths. Four official Tony Kart drivers followed each other from 7th to 10th position with James Egozi, Jan Przyrowski, Sebastiano Pavan and Luigi Coluccio all on Tony Kart/Vortex.
