Nakamura-Berta and Leuillet tied in KZ2 Qualifying

63 KZ2 drivers were fighting it out during the Qualifying sessions of the second round of the WSK Super Master Series in Franciacorta. Nakamura-Berta and Leuillet finished in a tie.

Session 1
Kean Nakamura-Berta (KR/Iame) had taken the lead in 45”936 on the third lap and remained in the lead 14 thousandths ahead of Samuele Leopardi (CRG/TM). Maksim Orlov (Parolin/TM) took 3rd in the final moments. Thomas Imbourg (Sodi/TM) was 4th, 2 tenths ahead of Marek Skrivan (IPK/TM) and Alex Maragliano (Maranello/TM). Yevan David (Sodi/TM) was 8th, Freddie Slater (Birel ART/TM) 10th and Jean Nomblot (Sodi/TM) 11th.

Session 2
On the third lap, Tom Leuillet (Tony Kart/Vortex) passed Emilien Denner (Sodi/TM) for the lead. Leuillet improved and finished in a perfect tie with Nakamura-Berta on45”936. Denner followed by 2 tenths. Cristian Bertuca (Birel ART/TM) and Riccardo Longhi (Birel ART/TM) were 3rd and 4th, 27 hundredths behind Norton Andreasson (Tony Kart/Vortex) and Gisueppe Palomba (Birel ART/TM) in 6th. Alex Powell (KR/Iame) was 7th, Senna van Walstijn (Sodi/TM) made his comeback in 9th place ahead of Mattéo Spirgel (Sodi/TM).
