Mini U10 pole position for Eskandari Marandi

Nearly 50 drivers under 10 years old lined up at the start of the second round of the WSK Super Master Series at Franciacorta in the Mini U10 category. Qualifying Practice consisted of two sessions on a dry but fresh track.

Session 1: Eskandari Marandi – 53”736
Most of the drivers were waiting for the last two minutes to take the track. Sebastian Eskandari Marandi (Tony Kart/Vortex) was the fastest on the first lap ahead of Oleksandr Legenkyi (KR/Iame) and Maximus Unt (Tony Kart/TM) and remained the leader with a time of 53”736, 26 thousandths ahead of Unt, then Legenkyi. Niccolo Perico (Energy/TM) was 4th and Michele Orlando (IPK/TM) 5th. Stan Fagot (Parolin/TM) set an excellent 6th time, 4 tenths off the pace.

Session 2: Tamm – 53”815
The result fell into place during the second and final lap. Albert Tamm (Parolin/Iame) was the fastest with 53’815, followed by David Moscari (Parolin/TM) at 0.120”, then Achille Rea (CRG/TM) 3rd, Daniil Kutskov (Parolin/Iame) 4th and Henri Kumpen (Parolin/Iame) 5th. Alessandro Truchot (Parolin/TM) finished in 8th position.
