David in the lead after the OK heats in Lonato

Despite a disappointing second heat, his two victories allowed David Walther (Tony Kart/Vortex) to take the lead in the OK Qualifying Heats of the first round of the WSK Super Master Series in Lonato. Gustaw Winiewski (Exprit/TM) made a good comeback from 13th to 2nd position ahead of Tomass Stolcermanis (Energy/TM). Gabriel Gomez (CRG/Iame) regained 10 places in 4th position against Luis Egozi (Tony Kart/Vortex). Jimmy Helias (Tony Kart/Vortex) kept his 9th place. Poleman Luigi Coluccio (Tony Kart/Vortex) lost a lot of ground when he retired at the start of his last race and found himself in 14th place on Saturday evening. Nathan Tye (Sodi/TM) made up 22 places to 44th position, ahead of René Lammers (Parolin/TM). Anatoly Khavalkin (Parolin/TM) was 25th, followed by Kirill Kutskov (Birel ART/TM) and Miguel Costa (KR/Iame). Maxens Verbrugge (Birel ART/TM) was 32nd and Andrea Dupé (Sodi/TM) 40th (+11).
