The OK-Junior Qualifying session of the WSK Champions Cup gathered 56 drivers in Lonato on Friday morning in a still fresh temperature.
Session 1
Lewis Wherrell (Exprit/TM) was the fastest driver with a time of 47.501, while Niklas Schaufler (KR/Iame) was 17 thousandths slower. Lev Krutogolov (Tony Kart/Iame) was ahead of Jindrich Pesl (IPK/TM) and Dries van Langendonck (Energy/TM). Louis Cochet (Sodi/TM) and Simon Rechenmacher (KR/Iame) were not credited with a single lap.
Session 2
With his best lap of 47”734, Filippo Sala (Sodi/TM) finished more than two tenths off Wherrell’s pole position. Stepan Antonov (KR/Iame) was 2nd, 8 hundredths behind, followed by Taym Saleh (KR/Iame) in 3rd place. Ethan Lennon (Exprit/TM) and Guy Albag (Exprit/TM) completed the top five.
