Sjoeberg wins the E20 Senior Final

Jesper Sjoeberg (SWE) entered the E20 Senior Final of the 2022 RMCGF as the favourite in the sun of Portimao. Luca Koester (GER) took over from him at lights out with Chen Han Lin (TWN) 3rd, Eric Le Moine (FRA) 4th and Raul Vargas (ESP) 5th. Mathias Njeim (LBN) made contact with Le Moine who lost a position. Griffin Dowler (CAN) crashed at the back of the pack. Koester kept in touch with the leader while Lin remained in 3rd place ahead of Vargas. Halfway through the race, Koester attacked Sjoeberg and managed to take the lead on his second attempt. In the last two laps, the gap between the three leaders was getting closer. In a last ditch effort, Sjoeberg took the lead and won by 75 thousandths over Koester. Chen Han Lin finished 3rd ahead of Vargas and Le Moine.
