Pavan wins the OK Prefinals in Lonato

The first lap of the WSK Open Cup OK Prefinal in Lonato was somewhat chaotic and several drivers like Anatoly Khalalkin (Parolin/TM), Dmitry Matveev (Tony Kart/Vortex), Jan Przyroswski (Tony Kart/Vortex) and Alex Powell (KR/Iame) paid the price. Yuanpu Cui (KR/Iame) was dislodged from 1st place by Sebastiano Pavan (Exprit/TM). David Walther (Tony Kart/Vortex) took the lead over Oscar Pedersen (Tony Kart/Vortex) in 3rd place. James Egozi (Tony Kart/Vortex) then moved up from 17th to 5th position. Pavan resisted the pressure of Walther for a long time and took the victory with a 0,127” advantage. Egozi finished 3rd ahead of Tomass Stolcermanis (Energy/TM) and Cui. Maxens Verbrugge (KR/Iame) had a good start but lost ground and finished 18th at his starting position.
