OK Qualifying: Sammalisto unbeatable in the rain at Lonato

The track in Lonato was still wet for the OK Qualifying Practice of the WSK Open Cup. Luka Sammalisto (KR/Iame) was very fast against Maxens Verbrugge (KR/Iame) and Oscar Pedersen (Tony Kart/Vortex). Thomas Strauven (LN/Vortex) was 2nd, 7 tenths behind the leader. Sammalisto maintained his high pace until the end and took pole position on the last lap with 1’05”587. Yuanpu Cui (KR/Iame) followed at 6 tenths, then Pedersen 3rd, Sebastiano Pavan (Exprit/TM) 4th and Jan Przyrowski (Tony Kart/Vortex) 5th. Tomas Stolcermanis (Energy/TM) finished 7th, Alex Powell (KR/Iame) 8th and Verbrugge 9th ahead of Dmitry Matveev (Tony Kart/Vortex).
