WSK Euro: Deligny and Nakamura-Berta win the OK Prefinals

Freddie Slater (LN/Vortex) overtook Enzo Deligny (Parolin/TM) on the first lap of the WSK Euro Series Prefinal A in Sarno. Maksim Orlov (Parolin/TM) lost 3rd place to Douwe Dedecker (KR/Iame) followed by Joe Turney (Tony Kart/Vortex). Deligny broke away in front of Slater, while Turney was 3rd ahead of Paolo Ippolito (KR/Iame) and Dedecker. Slater then dropped back to 6th. At the halfway point, Turney was gradually coming back on Deligny, 8 tenths ahead of him, the Frenchman seeming a little slower. Deligny controlled the situation and stayed more than 5 tenths ahead of Turney. Ippolito finished 3rd, Dedecker 4th and Matheus Ferreira (Energy/TM) 5th. Arthur Rogeon (KR/Iame) had made up eight places in 11th position.

Tuuka Taponen (Tony Kart/Vortex) got off to a good start in Prefinal B, Alex Powell (KR/Iame) came 2nd ahead of David Walther (Tony Kart/Vortex) and Tomass Stolcermanis (Energy/TM). Taponen was already a second ahead on the second lap. Kean Nakamura-Berta (KR/Iame) moved up to 3rd and Arvid Lindblad (KR/Iame) moved into the top five. Nakamura-Berta moved up to 2nd before the halfway mark and came back to Taponen with times that were 3 or 4 tenths faster. The Japanese driver took the lead on lap 8. Nakamura won the race 1,4” ahead of Taponen, Lindblad 3rd, Harley Keeble (Birel ART/TM) 4th (+9 pl) followed by Walther.
