19 DD2 Masters drivers competed in the Qualifying sessions of the Rotax Max Challenge International Trophy in Le Mans. Vivien Cussac-Picot (Tony Kart/Rotax) and Romain Mangé (LN/Rotax) were leading the way on the second lap. Cussac-Picot progressed on the third lap followed by Olivier Paris (LN/Rotax). Paul Louveau (Redspeed/Rotax) returned to the pits after a difficult lap and a black flag. Cussac-Picot took pole position on 52’490, 85 thousandths ahead of Paris. Gabriel Zughella (Tony Kart/Rotax) finished 3rd ahead of Mangé and Primoz Matelic (Praga/Rotax).
