Lonato: Crisan and Hoogendoorn win the Mini Prefinals

Blue skies and 30° for the Mini Prefinals of the WSK Euro Series in Lonato.

Prefinal A: Crisan beats Ivannikov
Vladimir Ivannikov (EKS/TM) was leading Prefinal A, while Illie Tristan Crisan (Alonso Kart/Iame) was quickly followed by Roman Kamyab (Parolin/Iame). Alessandro Truchot (Parolin/TM) crashed out at the back of the field, and Jack Illife (Parolin/TM) had dropped out. Ivannikov came back to chase down P2. Iskender Zulfikari (KR/Iame) came back to 4th ahead of Iacopo Martinese (Parolin/Iame). Filippo Pancotti (Parolin/Iame) was 3rd ahead of Kamyab and Zulfikari. The Canadian Crisan controlled Ivannikov until the victory, with Zulfikari 3rd, Martinese 4th and Kamyab 5th.

Prefinal B: Hoogendoorn
Dean Hoogendoorn (Alonso Kart/Iame) led ahead of Christian Costoya (Parolin/TM) and Bosco Arias (Alonso Kart/Iame) with Louis Cochet (Parolin/Iame) moving up five places to 4th. Dries van Langendonck (Parolin/TM) was 4th and Olivier Palocko (Parolin/Iame) 5th. Hoogendoorn had a 1,6″ advantage in mid-race. Van Langendonck was 2nd in front of Costoya. Hoogendoorn was 3″ ahead of Palocko and Costoya, followed by Arias and van Langendonck in the top five. Cochet, 6th, lost two places in the battle of the last lap. Walter Schulz (Sodi/TM) finished 32nd after having been 29th for a long time.
