Saleh and Khavalkin tied in the OK-Junior heats of the Euro Series in Franciacorta

In Franciacorta, the heats were not easy to win. A significant number of penalties were applied while the track’s grip caused several underperformances. A rain shower slowed down the pace late Friday afternoon. At the end of this difficult exercise, Taym Saleh (KR/Iame) and Anatholy Khavalkin (Parolin/TM) finished with the same total of eight points, two wins against three. Maciej Gladysz (LN/Vortex) followed by a point ahead of Nathan Tye (Sodi/TM), with one win each. Alfie Slater (LN/Vortex) moved up nine places to 5th place ahead of Martin Molnar and Elliot Kaczynski. Emanuele Olivieri (IPK/TM) and Andres Cardenas (Energy/TM) made it into the top 10 ahead of Thomas Strauven (LN/Vortex), who was 2nd in Qualifying.

Guy Albag (Tony Kart/Vortex) made his presence felt by winning the last heat to ensure he moved up nine places to 11th, while Lucas Fluxa Cross (KR/Iame) moved up 14 places to 12th ahead of Jan Przyrowski (Tony Kart/Vortex) who moved up 22 positions. Jimmy Helias (Tony Kart/Vortex) was up 26 places to 18th, Guillaume Bouzar (Tony Kart/Vortex) was down 11 places to 20th. Jules Caranta (Energy/TM) was six places higher in 26th position. Maxens Verbrugge (KR/Iame) climbed an extraordinary 34 places to 37th place. Andy Consani (Sodi/TM) finished 42nd (+8 pl) and Thomas Quincé (Tony Kart/TM) 62nd (+14 pl). Arthur Dorison (Tony Kart/Vortex) did not qualify for the Super Heats after many setbacks.
