Franciacorta: Nakamura-Berta sets the fastest OK time

60 OK drivers took to the track in Franciacorta for the Qualifying Practice of the fourth round of the Champions of the Future Euro Series. The weather was fine and slightly cloudy, with a temperature of 25°, but feeling like more. The fastest times were generally achieved after four or five laps.

Session 1: Nakamura-Berta – 47”035
Kean Nakamura-Berta (KR/Iame) was more than a tenth faster than his rivals in the first session, setting the fastest time of 47”035. Tomass Stolcermanis (Energy/TM) secured 2nd place, followed by Freddie Slater (LN/Vortex), Yuanpu Cui (KR/Iame) and David Walther (Tony Kart/Vortex). Evan Giltaire (KR/Iame) finished 6th and Arthur Rogeon (KR/Iame) 12th.

Session 2: Cuman – 47”121
In the second session, Nico Cuman (Exprit/TM) took a slight advantage with 47’121, 25 thousandths ahead of Douwe Dedecker (KR/Iame) and 39 thousandths ahead of Alex Powell (KR/Iame). Luigi Coluccio (Tony Kart/Vortex) took 4th place followed by team-mate Tuukka Taponen (Tony Kart/Vortex).

Session 3: Turney – 47”329
The track seemed to continue to be less favourable until the third round, as Joe Turney (Tony Kart/Vortex) was the fastest with a time of 47”329. Nacho Tunon (KR/Iame) was 2nd at 79 thousandths and Enea Frey (KR/TM) 3rd at 9.146”. Maksim Orlov (Parolin/TM) was 4th ahead of Caspian Hagman (Tony Kart/Vortex). Enzo Deligny (Parolin/TM) was fast on the first lap but had to settle for 6th place.
